Training for Building Performance Institute (BPI) Certifications

In-Person Field Training Costs and Details

BPI Building Analyst Training (15-20 hours total) - $1,000

• Learn how to collect and evaluate data for a home energy audit

• Shadow 4 energy audits

• 1 field review where we watch and provide feedback

BPI Envelope Professional Training (10-15 hours total) - $750

• Learn how to conduct blower door tests and evaluate the results

• Shadow 4 blower door tests

• 1 field review where we watch and provide feedback

BPI Infiltration and Duct Leakage Training (10-15 hours total) - $750

• Learn how to conduct duct leakage tests and evaluate the results

• Shadow 4 duct blast tests

• 1 field review where we watch and provide feedback

For all trainees, e3 Power will provide the training locations, but you will need to provide your own testing location. All training is in-person and on-site in our Colorado service area. At this time, we are unable to offer opportunities for recertification training or testing. e3 Power is not currently hiring or offering employment opportunities for trainees, but we may in the future!
